ES File Explorer File Manager

esfileexplorerMany users of Android devices will have many years experience working with their files and folders within Microsoft Windows or an Apple operating system and they are often confused when trying to locate a file on their phone or tablet. This has been one of my ‘must install’ apps for years and it has grown into an app that does much more now – and it’s still free.

Here’s some of the features.
File Manager: You can manage your files just like you would do on your desktop or laptop using Multiple Select, Cut/Copy/Paste, Move, Create, Delete, Rename, Search, Share, Send, Hide, Create Shortcut, and Bookmark. All operations can be performed on local files on your Android device or even remotely from your computer over a network, if you are an experienced user.
Remote File Manager: When this feature is enabled, you can manage files on your phone from your computer! This makes it very easy to get photos off your phone for example.
Multimedia Explorer: One click to play music/videos, check images and documents. The app has a media player built in to handle many different file types.
Bluetooth file browser: This is one of the newer, very handy features. You can copy and paste files between Bluetooth-ready devices. The File Manager can browse devices and transfer files between Bluetooth devices.

There are even more features, some of which are in the advanced user category, but to be able to simply browse and explore the storage area on your device and open files quickly and easily, this app can’t be beaten in my opinion. Just the ability to create a shortcut to a folder on a home screen alone is a good reason to install ES File Explorer File Manager. The other features make it a must-have.

Hi Marsha, just go to Settings - Apps (your device may call this section something different like 'Manage Apps', find the app in the list and tap 'Uninstall'. It's that simple!
