Androids4Seniors is For Sale

Well, the run from me here is at an end. Other committments mean I cannot do the blog justice and write articles anymore. The amount of time and work in even a simple single page blog post is quite amazing, especially as I am a little ‘anal’ about ensuring every post has no mistakes and reads well as well as being informative.

Google’s Adsense, which I use on pages here, seem to have been gradually reducing the earnings that publishers receive even though the ‘click throughs’ have been fairly steady – so I attempted to ask for donations to help with running costs, but this has not been successful. Not one single reader donation.

This is not an unusual thing with blogs and news sites – everyone expects the internet to be free and by refusing to even see adverts (by using Ad blockers) then the writers and owners of blogs are just expected to do it for free. I considered a paywall for premium content but didn’t think this would be successful and the work required to separate free content from paid for not worth the effort.

Nevermind, I’ve had fun and hopefully some of the posts have inspired readers to install apps they didn’t know about and change some of the settings on their devices to make them run smoother.

I would like the site to be sold in it’s entirety as a going concern including the domain names (there are two – and so use the contact page to contact me about this.

Thanks and keep on enjoying the Android platform and the existing content which will remain until the site is either sold or the blog is taken down completely.
